"How to set up password to a USB drive without any software"
Today I will teach you how to set up password to a USB drive without any software !!
First of all you need a freshly formatted USB.
If not. Now insert it and then click RMB on the USB drive and select format, disable quick format and format it.
If you have stored data inside your drive. It takes time for encryption.
SO, Copy your data's in a safer place.....
Now follow my steps-
1. Right click on your USB drive
2. Click on "turn on Bit Locker"
3. Wait for the bit locker to start
4. Then enable "Use a password to unlock the device"
5. Enter the password and retype it to conform
6. Now you may print your recovery key (recommended)
Or better save it in a safer place !
7. Now select "Encrypt used disk space only (faster and best for new PCs and drives)"
8. Now click on "Start encrypting"
9. It usually takes less than a minute.
10.When you see the message "encryption is complete" then click on "close".
Done !!!
Now if you insert your USB then it asks for a PASSWORD !!!
